Dance the Story: Sleeping Beauty with Ballet 314

  • Sheldon Concert Hall and Galleries 3648 Washington Avenue St. Louis, MO, 63108 United States (map)

Experience the connected worlds of dance, music and literacy through the Sleeping Beauty ballet. Students will learn the building blocks of every great story, through this interactive presentation of Tchaikovsky’s ballet, told with age-appropriate narration.  Everyone will be dancing by the end of the show!

Tickets for live, in-person programs are $5 per student. Scholarships may be available to eligible schools.

The Sheldon will continue to offer live-streaming performances of our most popular concerts this season, free of charge to both traditional and home schools, thanks to thanks to the Steward Family Foundation and many other generous donors.

These one-hour performances feature some of St. Louis’ top musicians and educators as well as several nationally acclaimed artists. Students are given the opportunity for a Q&A session with artists at the end of each performance. Teacher handbooks, which include additional educational material and follow-up activities, will be provided to guide teachers for each concert.
