Raise Your Standards
September 28-29, 2024

What are your "standards?" Throughout our study of tap dance and jazz music, we celebrate jazz standards.  Jazz standards are musical compositions (and their artists) held in the highest esteem, studied and used for the basis of rhythmic arrangements and improvisation. Dive deeper. The ritual of upholding these jazz standards through study, practice, & execution can be translated to our everyday lives. What are the "standards" or principles by which you live, work, and build relationships?

Join us for this live music and tap dance celebration of our favorite jazz standards and exploration of what it means to "Raise Your Standards," with choreography by special guest artists Tré Dumas III and Tommy Wasiuta. Join us after each performance for a 20 minute talk-back with the directors.

Join us on-stage on Friday evening, September 27 for a special tap class with our performers.
